This afternoon some friends and I went to the Chart Farm next to Wynberg Park pick our own roses. On a Sunday it only cost R2 per stem (usually R4) which is a cheep considering the price you pay for roses at Woolworths. It was a great afternoon wandering around the farm trying to find the best roses to pick. There is also a little restaurant on the farm which has some good food and a great fireplace. Rose picking season is only till the end of next month so go soon!
